You can visit the MEDIAH website freely and consult information about our company, activities and services without the need to give us personal information or identification data. Only if you want to receive our newsletter or make use of certain services on this website (like asking for information or offers), you will be asked to leave your contact details. Each time you give us personal identification information, MEDIAH will threat them in respect with the policy described hereafter and the general legislation in relation to the protection of the privacy.
 
1. Confidential treatment of identification data
The personal information that MEDIAH collects, will be kept in a secured environment which cannot be accessed by the public. The file can only be accessed by a limited number of persons working for MEDIAH who need this information to do their job. This information will exclusively be handled for internal needs. As a general rule, MEDIAH does not give personal information to third parties, except if asked for it explicitly by the police or legal authorities. In the exceptional case that MEDIAH would transmit information to organisations or companies it works with, you will be asked for your explicit permission. 
  
2. Purpose of the treatment
In the case of a conquest, game, voting, incentive, etc. MEDIAH collects identification data to be able to contact you. The information will not be kept longer than necessary.
When you register to receive certain services (for example access to a newsletter, specific information,...) MEDIAH will treat the information to be able to get in touch with you and to offer you an optimal service. This information can also be used to inform you about news, new services and products and events of MEDIAH. If you do not wish to receive such information, you can inform us via e-mail (patrick@mediah.be) or letter (MEDIAH bvba, Provincieweg 298 – 1, 9550 Herzele). In the information mails that MEDIAH sends you, there will be a notification or link through which you can unsubscribe.
 
3. Permission for treatment
By filling in your identification data you explicitly give permission to MEDIAH to treat them for the above mentioned purposes. When MEDIAH wants to use these data for other purposes or to give them to companies or organisations that work with MEDIAH, your explicit permission will be asked and you will have the right to refuse. 
 
4. Right to consult, correct and remove identification data
You have the right to consult the elements that MEDIAH has registered about yourself and to have incomplete or inaccurate data corrected. Moreover you can ask at any time to remove your personal data from the MEDIAH file by contacting the webmaster.
 
5. Use of "cookies"
The MEDIAH website will sometimes use “cookies”. A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. The website uses cookies to help identify and track visitors, their usage of the website, and their website access preferences.
